Sufi Dance in Motion

Still digging into photos of that outstanding experience in the Tanura Show. If you are not familiar with that kind of Art, check my post about it from here. The show was really inspiring and I was thinking about taking photos in many ways and different aspects. With each shot, I was trying to quickly imagine what it should end up to.

EXIF: F4 – 1/2 s – 70 mm – ISO 100

In this photo, I was thinking only about how to capture an interesting scene describing the Motion in Tanura Dance. I have set my camera on the Manual mode with half a second exposure time  preparing for the shot. While all dancers gathered and formed a revolving circle, I fired my shutter and got the shot. Other than the shot, I was also very impressed with the great stabilization of the lens (SONY FE 70-200 mm OSS) as the shot was handheld. Of course, it’s difficult to capture a relatively long exposure shot like this without using a tripod or even a mono pod.
