Capturing Final Daylights in Alexandria

Alexandria in Orange

These were the last moments of the World Wide Photowalk day in Alexandria. It was a real hectic but interesting day. met with over 60 photographers from different ages and skills. We have gathered by end of the day around the Citadel of Qaitbay, where I have taken this photo.

EXIF: F9.5 – 131 s – 24 mm – ISO 100

I didn’t shoot a lot of long exposures. And I think I still need to get used to it. I consider this as one of the early trials for long exposure photography. The photo was shot as a single Raw which unfortunately came out slightly under exposed. But shooting in Raw gave me the chance to recover it. I have used my SONY A7 with the 24-70 mm Zeiss lens. On top, I had a 10 stop ND filter to get that long exposure time. Processing was mainly done in Adobe Lightroom with few touches and adjustments in Photoshop.
